OUR MISSION

CFDRDO is a coalition of residents and dog clubs in Connecticut working on the ground to protect the rights of dog owners, trainers and breeders at the state and local levels. Our rights as responsible dog owners, fanciers and breeders continue to be threatened by "animal rights" advocacy and legislation. The American Kennel Club ("AKC") tracks legislation nationwide that could directly impact our ability to continue to own, breed, exhibit and train our dogs. In working to protect these rights, AKC needs the help of grass root organizations like CFDRDO and  other state Federations nationwide. Working together, we can demonstrate that dog owners, trainers and breeders are united in supporting the future of responsible dog ownership, training and breeding. Please join us so together we can work to preserve our right to own, train, breed and exhibit our beloved dogs for years to come.
